Olive 1985 revision Matt Cohen , surveyor A typical example of a common eaves front form of the Bungalow style , this house was probably built by local carpenter Rube A. Young . This house , and 615 W . Olive next to it , are isolated from the rest of the W . Olive St. streetscape to the east by house lots of S . 6th Ave . , which follow a north-south orientation . Young signed the water permit for the site in 1911 , and was listed as the resident of 721 W . Olive , probably the same house , in 1912 . By 1927 , Walter L . Mecklenburg , and his wife Dora J . Mecklenburg , a teacher at the Gallatin County High School , were living here . The house is very similar to 401 W . Curtiss .
