Discuss significant architectural features. 1 This deatched one-and-one-half story single-family residence has a. rectangular I plan with a new deck on the front and a bay on the east side. The one-bay facade is asymmetrical and consists of an offset glass-paned front entrance with double-hung 4/1 and 8/1 windows having beveled, leaded glass panes above, and unusual flowered exterior trim, as well as cornice trim. Two round columns support a semi-eliptical arched entrance. The frame construction I is finished in stucco with trim and rests on a concrete foundation. The gable roof has a cupped front end and is covered with grey asphalt shingles and features boxed eaves. There is one central brick chimney and one offset exterior brick chimney. The axis of the roof is perpendicular to the street. ` Outbuildings include a stucco garage with gable roof. i HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: Justify how the persons,important events,and/or historical patterns associated with the structure'site and surrounding area lend the property significance. Research in the sources consulted in this survey has not yielded any significant historical information concerning persons or events associated with this property. Significance: This structure qualifies as a contributing element within a potential historic district due to its association with the residential aspect of the Progressive Phase of Bozeman 's historic/architectural development. Wisner , widow of Rene Wisner . Notable architectural features include the shouldered and battered door and window surrounds , the segmental arched entry porch on Tuscan Columns , and the Jerkin head roof , and the stucco finish .
