This detached one-and-one-half story single-family residence has a rectangular plan with a bay on the east side. The one-bay facade is asymmetrical and con- sists of an off-center glass-paned front entrance with double-hung 5/1 and 4/1 windows. The full open hipped front porch is supported by squared wooden columns and features a gabled, eyebrow dormer over the entrance steps with a metal railing leading to the porch. The frame construction is finished in beveled siding and rests on a concrete foundation with wide side facade of stone. The gable roof is covered with brown asphalt shingles and features a shingled, shed-roofed dormer, overhanging eaves and exposed rafters with knee braces and a board running along the ends. There is a central brick chimney and a metal stovepipe. The axis of the roof is perpendicular to the street. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: Justify how the persons,important events,and/or historical patterns associated with the structure/site and surrounding area lend the property significance. Research in the sources consulted in this survey has not yielded any significant historical information concerning persons or events associated with this property. Significance: This structure qualifies as a contributing element within a potential historic district due to its association with the residential aspect of the Civic Phase of Bozeman 's historic/architectural development. INTEGRITY: Assess the degree to which the structure/site,and surrounding area accurately convey the historical associations of the property. The historic integrity of this property has been retained due to the survival of original materials and the continuity of use, setting and location.
