This well preserved Bungalow bears the distinctive pro-
portions and detailing that indicate the work of Elmer L .
Bartholomew , Bozeman ' s leading early 20th century builder .
1 The house may have been commissioned by James M. Holderby , a mill -
wright living at 411 W . Curtiss at the time . By 1927 , and
possibly as early as 1922 , Lewis M. LeLacheur had moved in .
The house is very similar in design to several other houses
attributed to Bartholomew , such as 515 and 701 S . 6th
Ave . , and 803 W . Babcock St .
