PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Describe present appearance of structure/site,then contrast and compare that with it's original appearance,
-noting additions,alterations,and changes in materials.Discuss significant architectural features.
This detached two-story single-family residence has a square plan with
an off-center oval-glassed front entrance with fixed and 1/1 double-hung
windows with cornices. There is an open front wrap-around porch adjoining
a projecting side bay, which has latticework in front and a smaller right
side entrance. The frame construction is finished in beveled siding with
corner trim and shingles in tine gable ends. The structure rests on a concrete
foundation. The combination gambrel-gable roof is covered with green asphalt
shingles and features boxed, returning eaves. The axis of the roof is
perpendicular to the street with an intersecting gable roof facing parallel .
Outbuildings include a garage of dropped siding.

Research in the sources consulted in this survey has not yielded any
significant historical information concerning persons or events
associated with this property.

This well preserved , vernacular Colonial Revival style
pattern book house is an important element in this cohesive
streetscape of five diverse pattern book houses , the others
being 401 , 411 , 417 and 421 W . Koch .
In 1927 , William W . Willis and his wife , Hannah Willis ,
were living here .
