Discuss significant architectural features. This detached two-and-one-half story single-family residence has a square plan with a hipped roof front porch with gable overdoor supported by wood posts with latticework, and a projecting back porch. The one-bay facade is asymmetrical and consists of an off-center front entrance with oval glass and fixed and 1/1 double-hung windows with cornice trim. The frame construc- tion is finished in white beveled siding with corner trim and red shingles in the gable ends. There are also new shakes on the bottom half of the back porch. The structure rests on a concrete foundation. The gable roof is covered with brown asphalt shingles and features a gabled dormer, and shingled arches inside the gable ends meeting returning eaves. The axis of the roof is parallel to the street. Outbuildings include a shed-roofed garage with dropped siding. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: Justify how the persons,important events,and/or historical patterns associated with the structure/site and surrounding area lend the property significance. Research in the sources consulted in this survey has not yielded any significant historical information concerning persons or events associated with this property. This structure qualifies as a contributing element within a potential historic district due to its association with the residential aspect of the Civic Phase of Bozeman's historic/architectural development.
