STORY
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Describe present appearance of structure/site,then contrast and compare that with it's original appearance,
noting additions,alterations,and changes in materials.Discuss significant architectural features.
This detached one-and-one-half story single-family residence has a square
plan with a shed-roofed porch across the front with solid railing and side
access and an old enclosed outside stairway. The one-bay facade is
asymmetrical and consists of an off-center front entrance with fixed and
double-hung windows with leaded glass in a diamond pattern. There is a bay
window to one side. The frame construction is finished in beveled siding and
rests on a concrete foundation. The gable roof is covered with light green
asphalt shingles and features a full shed-roofed wall dormer across the front
and across the back. There are overhanging eaves with exposed rafters
and knee braces. There is a brick chimney and the axis of the roof is
parallel to the street. Outbuildings include a garage of dropped siding.

significant historical information concerning persons or events
associated with this property.
This structure qualifies as a contributing element within a potential historic
district due to its association with the residential aspect of the Civic
Phase of Bozeman 's historic/architectural development.
