This detached one-and-one-half story single-family residence has a square plan with a shed-roofed porch across the front with solid railing and side access and an old enclosed outside stairway. The one-bay facade is asymmetrical and consists of an off-center front entrance with fixed and double-hung windows with leaded glass in a diamond pattern. There is a bay window to one side. The frame construction is finished in beveled siding and rests on a concrete foundation. The gable roof is covered with light green asphalt shingles and features a full shed-roofed wall dormer across the front and across the back. There are overhanging eaves with exposed rafters and knee braces. There is a brick chimney and the axis of the roof is parallel to the street. Outbuildings include a garage of dropped siding. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: Justify how the persons,important events,and/or historical patterns associated with the structure/site and surrounding area lend the property significance. Research in the sources consulted in this survey has not yielded any significant historical information concerning persons or events associated with this property. This structure qualifies as a contributing element within a potential historic district due to its association with the residential aspect of the Civic Phase of Bozeman 's historic/architectural development.
