510 W . Koch
1985 revision
Matt Cohen , surveyor
This very small Bungalow is the only house on this block
oriented toward W . Koch Street , and is an example of infill .
As shown the on the 1927 Sanborn Map , the house was
originally fronted by a full recessed porch , until it was
partially enclosed , as at present . The present small
pediment on the front roof eave therefore marked the
center of the porch , and probably the location of the
original front entrance as well . The building is other-
wise well preserved , retaining truss brackets and exposed
rafter tails .
