This detached one-and-one-half story single-family residence has a square plan with a gable-roofed enclosed front porch. The two-bay facade is asymmetrical and consists of a central entrance with 3/1 double-hung and sliding sash windows. There is a brick arch around the door frame. The frame construction is finished in 6" bevel siding and rests on a concrete foundation. The gable roof is covered with green asphalt shingles and features a clipped gable intersecting front-facing extenion and a matching clipped roof dormer next to it. The frame construction has a brick exterior chimney and the axis of the roof is parallel to the street. Outbuildings include a matching garage. The upper levels of both house and garage are stucco with half-timber trim. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: Justify how the persons,important events,and/or historical patterns associated with the structure/site and surrounding area lend the property significance. Research in the sources consulted in this survey has not yielded any significant historical information concerning persons or events associated with this property. This structure qualifies as a contributing element within a potential historic district due to its association with the residential aspect of the Nationali- zation Phase of Bozeman 's historic/architectural development.
