1985 revision
Matt Cohen , surveyor
The best example of the Tudor Revival style in Bozeman
and one of the most architecturally significant buildings
in the district , this large house was built during the
Depression by John L . Ketterer , who ran a filling station
at 201 W . Plain St . The Ketterers remained here into the
1940 ' s .
According to a sewer permit sketch map , a garage was
originally located just northeast of the house .
Appropriate to its level of pretention , the house occupies
a choice lot facing Cooper Park .
