PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Describe present appearance of structure/site,then contrast and compare that with it's original appearance,

This detached one-and-one-half story single-family residence has a modified
greek cross plan with an enclosed hipped roof corner porch and an attached
mansard-roofed garage. The one-bay facade is asymmetrical and consists of an
off-center front entrance with fixed, 3/2 double-hung and casement windows.
The frame construction is finished in aluminum siding and rests on a cut
stone foundation. The flat-gable-hipped combination roof is covered with, ..
older red asphalt shingles and features returning eaves and a central brick
chimney. The axis of the main roof is perpendicular to the street.
The exterior has been re-sided.

Non-contributing due to alteration , this vernacular Queen
Anne style house nevertheless makes a significant contri -
bution to this streetscape of seven turn of the century
houses , most of which are very similar . This house is
especially similar to 407 W . Story next door .
In 1927 , Claude B . Conant , a Civil engineer , was living
here .
