CKERSON PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Describe present appearance of structurelsite,then contrast and compare that with it's original appearance, noting additions,alterations,and changes in materials.Discuss significant architectural features. This detached single-family residence has a square plan with a projecting gable bay in front of the hipped roofed main square. There is an offset gabled enclosed front entrance and a shed-roofed back porch. The two-bay facade is asymmetrical and consists of an offcenter front entrance with fixed 10-paned leaded glass windows and 1/1 double-hung windows. The frame construction is covered with beveled siding with a 4" overlap and rests on a cinderblock foundation. The gable-hipped combination roof is covered with green asphalt shingles and features two brick chimneys. The axis of the roof is perpendicular to the street. Outbuildings include a garage.
