421 W . Story
1985 revision
Matt Cohen , surveyor
Though significantly altered by the installation of
aluminum siding , this house retains its original massing
and fenestration , and is a significant element in this
i
streetscape of seven small , turn of the century houses . The
house was probably identical to 411 W . Story when built ,
and may retain similar shinglework beneath the present siding .
The Bungaloid porch columns and balustrade was probably added
around 1920 .
In 1927 , Marvin S . Stanley , bookkeeper at the Oliver
Stout Implement Co . , was the resident here .
