This detached two-story single-family residence has a square plan with a hipped-roofed front porch, a hipped-roofed bay window to the side and a shed-roofed back porch, as well as a hooded side porch. The one-bay facade is symmetrical and consists of an off-center front entrance with fixed stained- glass windows and 1/1 double-hung windows. There are shutters on the windows. The frame construction is finished in masonite siding,;shingled, and rests on a concrete foundation. The hipped roof is covered with green-grey asphalt shingles and features boxed eaves and a central brick chimney. The outbuildings include a new garage with hipped roof shingled with wood shakes. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: Justify how the persons,important events,and/or historical patterns associated with the structure/site and surrounding area lend the property significance. Research in the sources consulted in this survey has not yielded any significant historical information concerning persons or events associated with this property. I This structure qualifies as a contributing element within a potential historic district due to its association with the residential aspect of the Civic Phase of Bozeman's historic/architectural development.
