PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Describe present appearance of structurelsite,then contrast and compare that with it's original appearance,
noting additions,alterations,and changes in materials.Discuss significant architectural features.
This detached one-and-one-half story single-family residence has a rectangular
plan with a hipped roof over the front entry and an attached shed-roofed carport.
There is a projecting bay on the east. The one-bay facade is symmetrical
and consists of a central front en-rance with 5/1 double-hung windows. The
frame construction is finished in hardboard masonite shingles and rests on
a concrete foundation. The gable roof is covered with red asphalt shingles
and features overhanging eaves with exposed rafters and a brick chimney.
The roof is perpendicular to the street. The present siding covers the original
beveled siding. Outbuildings include a garage.

One of the several typical Bungalows built around 1930
by local builder Lou F. Sievert , this house is non-
contributing due to installation of asbestos sheathing ,
and the enclosure of the porch.
No house of this address is listed in the 1931 City directory .
In the 1933 directory , Dean C . Chaffin , president/manager
of the Northern Auto Co . , was the resident here .
