Tracy being the other, this house may have been built as early as 1916, and occupied temporarily by Smith himself. In 1920, Smith sold the lot, presumably with this house on it, to D. Harvey Budd. Budd ran a plumbing business located at 30 W. Main which installed the plumbing in a large number of houses in this district, the Cooper Park Historic District, and elsewhere. Horace F. Judevine, president and manager of the Gallatin Valley Creamery, at 25 S. Tracy (see Main Street Historic District) , is listed as living here in 1927. The house was vacant in 1933, and in 1935-6, was occupied by Montanan H. Saunderson, a professor at Montana State College. The building is unfortunately presently being covered with aluminum siding, though trim will remain exposed. Bibliographv Gallatin County Deed Record, Oct. 25, 1916, Book 54, p. 398 (J.H.
