This detached one-and-one-half story single-family residence has an L-shaped
plan with an open front porch in the interior joint of the ell . The porch
has a shed roof, a solid railing and is supported by squared wood posts with
decorative knee braces. The two-bay facade is asymmetrical and consists of
an offset front entrance with 1/1 double-hung windows. The bearing wall
construction is finished in common bond brick with imbricated shingles in
the gable ends, and rests on a low concrete foundation. The gable roof is
covered with dark green asphalt shingles and has two chimneys , one brick and
one metal . There have been two additions to the rear and the original porch
railing has been enclosed with beveled siding.

significant historical information concerning persons or events
associated with this property.
This structure qualifies as a contributing element within a potential historic
district due to its association with the residential aspect of the Civic
Phase of Bozeman 's historic/architectural development.
