PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Describe present appearance of structure/site,then contrast and compare that with it's original appearance,
noting additions,alterations,and changes in materials. Discuss significant architectural features.
This detached one-and-one-half story single-family residence has an L-shaped plan
with a shed-roofed open porch in the interior joint of the ell and an addition to
the rear.. The two-bay facade is asymmetrical and consists of an off-center front
entrance with three double-hung 1/1 windows on the other facade, two side-by-side
on the first level and one on the second. The windows have shutters and brick
arches above them. The porch roof has a decorative gable over the door and a
spindle decoration along the top, and is supported by six turned posts. The
bearing wall construction is finished in brick and rests on a rubble foundation.
The gable roof is covered with blue asphalt shingles and features boxed, over-
hanging eaves. There is one central brick chimney. Outbuildings include a very
old barn and a shed.

potential historic district due to its association with the residential aspect
of the Civic Phase of Bozeman 's historic/architectural development.
