C. 06:04:00 PM (00:08:41)Outgoing Mayor Comments and Presentation for Mayor Taylor Mayor Taylor discussed closing out his career of public service. He discussed growth in such a desirable community, as well as the cooperation of all in making decisions. He discussed the Commission's ability to address recent challenges in the community. He addressed the challenges of the future, and in maintaining diversity by tackling affordable housing. He discussed cooperation with the County and need for new Law&Justice solutions. He asked the question, how big should we grow?He addressed water resources as a determinant. Mayor Taylor thanked his wife and City staff. He discussed the public,staff, and the Commission working together for the common good. He stated that he is very optimistic about the incoming Commission. Deputy Mayor Andrus and CM Surratt presented Mayor Taylor with an outgoing gift.
