This detached two-story single-family residence has an L-shaped plan with
the main section of the house facing perpendicular to the street, and a
one-story cross section lying parallel to the street and featuring a hipped
porch supported by wood posts. There is also a balconied porch to one side
supported by'wood posts and accessed to the second story. The frame con-
struction is finished in clapboard and features 4/4 double-hung windows .
It sits on a concrete foundation. The gabled roof is covered with asphalt
shingles.

and contractor, who built this house for himself in 1883. He held the
property until 1937.
