PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Describe present appearance of structure/site,then contrast and compare that with it's original appearance,

This detached three-and-one-half multi-family dwelling has a U-shaped
plan with multiple entrances. The brick construction is symmetrical
and has six-paned casement and double-hung windows. The foundation
is of stone and the flat roof with a stepped parapet has elaborate
brickwork on the cornice.
HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: Justify how the persons,important events,and/or historical patterns associated with the structure/site
and surrounding area lend the property significance.
This property is significant because this building is associated with a person
important in Bozeman history, Fred F. Willson. Son of General Lester Willson,
an early Bozeman resident, Willson was born in 1877 in Bozeman and was one of
the first students at Montana State College. He attended Columbia University
in architecture and studied two years abroad. He first practiced with C. S.
Haire and later with Link and Haire. In his long Bozeman practice from
1910 to 1956, he designed many public, commercial and residential buildings.
This structure is potentially eligible for the National Register because
of its historical associations and because of its architectural significance.
