Comments/Questions
I live in NE Bozeman east of Rouse and north of main. I am noticing on my walks that there are many white
signs in yards that seem to be request a variance for use as short term rentals. Because there are so many, I
would like to make a comment to cover all those proposals. I object to such use. NE Bozeman has been, is
and wants to continue as a neighborhood. It is not a business district or a hotel row. I and others want to
live among neighbors, not tourists. When I have a dispute with a neighbor, I want to resolve it with him/her
for long term solution, not call the cops, which I would for strangers. This neighborhood is blessed with a
great elementary school, to which my neighbors walk their young children. Let these properties be available
for long terms rental, if their owners don't want to live in them. Isn't that Bozeman's greatest need at the
moment?
Thank you,
City Of Bozeman
