BARGAIN AND SALE DEED
THIS INDENTURE, Made the 21st day of March, in the
year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and fifty-one, be-
tween BOZEMAN LODGE NO. 463 OF THE BENEVOLENT AND PROTECTIVE
ORDER OF ELKS, a non-profit corporation organized and exist-
ing under the laws of the State of Montana, with its principal
place of bus iness at Bozeman, Montana, the party of the first
part, and THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION IN GAL-
LArrl~i COUNTY, MONTANA, the party of the second part,

Montana. Said tract contains 0.15 acres, more or less.
A parcel of land lying in the vacated East Half (E~) of Switzler
Avenue South, the vacated South Half (S!) of East Babcock Street,
and the Northwest corner of Lot One (1), Block Seventeen (17),
Northern Pacific Addition to Bozeman, Montana, included within
the following metes and bounds, to-wit: Beginning at the inter-
section of the center lines of East Babcock Street and Switzler
Avenue South. thence East along the center line of said East Bab-
cock Street 63.02 feet; thence Southwesterly 35.61 feet to a point
on the North line of said Lot 1, Block 17, 13.84 feet East of the
Northwest corner of said Lot 1, Block 17; thence continuing South-
westerly on the same line 25.68 feet to a point on the West line
of said Lot 1, Block 17, 21.73 feet South of the Northwest corner
of said Lot 16 Block l7J thence continuing Southwesterly along the
same line 55. 8 feet to the center line of Switzler Avenue South;
thence North along the center line of said Switzler Avenue South
98.54 feet to the point of beginning. The parcel contains 0.07
acres, more or less. All the above mentioned streets and avenues
are as shown on the offIcial plat of the Northern Pacific Addit-

Montana.
TOGETHER with all and singular, the tenements, hereditaments and

and interest, property, possession, claim and demand whatsoever,
as well in law as in equity, of the said party of the first part,
of, in or to the said premises and every part and parcel thereof,
with the appurtenances.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD, all and singular, the said prem-
ises, together with the appurtenances, unto the said party of the
second part, and to its successors and assigns forever.
IN WI TNESS WHER EOF , the said party of the first part
has caused its corporate name to be subscribed and its corporate
seal to be affixed, by its duly authorized officers, the day and
