Dear Commissioners:
I was extremely disheartened to read about your declining to support wild and scenic rivers
and wilderness designations. You constantly harp on what attracts people here is the value of
the rivers and untrammeled forests. The town and business thrive on these aspects, it is
repeated again and again. Yet you now do not support them. You give more credence to
agricultural and other development, the very things that RUIN the rivers and wilderness.
Very short-sighted, indeed.
