Subject: Parking and snow
Good Morning,
I feel there needs to be a parking change in the winter. We need an emergency plan. I feel like the
roads and parking are crazy here. They are impassable by two cars at the same time. Is there a way
to instill an snow emergency route that if it snows an inch or more you have to park only on odd or
even sides of the road so the road can get cleared on that side and have more room for passing
cars.
Or from Sept-April it’s a parking only on odd or even sides of the street and it changes every other
week. Then if it snows, you can get one side cleared and then the next week get the next side. Any
cars left will be towed away. I feel like we need a new plan. There are a lot more cars in Bozeman
these days and we need a new plan to make it safe to walk and drive here. It works in other bigger
cities and as we grow to become a city we need a better plan.
