Call to Order ‐ 7:30 AM – Madison Room, City Hall 121 North Rouse Ave Dennis called the meeting to order. Public Comment – Members of the audience or their agent may be invited to present testimony or evidence. To be recognized, each person desiring to give testimony or evidence shall step forward and, after being recognized, give their name and address for the record. The presiding officer may establish a time frame for each public comment but in no case shall such timeframe be less than three (3) minutes per speaker. The presiding officer may lengthen or shorten the time allotted for public testimony. There was none. E. Action Items a. Resolution 2017‐1 “ADOPTING A POLICY FOR ANNUALLY REVIEWING AND SETTING THE RATES FOR ALL OFF‐STREET, AND ON‐STREET, MUNICIPAL PARKING UNDER THE PARKING COMMISSION’S JURISDICTION.” (See Attachment Exhibit 2 & 3). Moved and adopted by the Parking Commission with the Resolution being effective immediately. Review the permit rates for the MSU Residential Parking District and High Residential Parking District (See Attachment Exhibit 4). The revenue line on Exhibit 4 is citations issued not the amount collected for the residential district. BPC recommends that we go with staff recommendation to raise the rate to $20 if the revenue line is changed from $109,500 to actual collected cost, or close thereof. This will be brought back to the April meeting as an action item. The permit rates are established in Commission Resolution NO. 3807. It was brought up if the Bozeman High School Distract could be dissolved in the future pending more research. c. Discuss a draft letter to the Bozeman City Commission regarding parking/safety issues near schools and in new developments. (See Attachment Exhibit 5). This letter was signed and sent to both the City Commissioners as well as the Bozeman School Board. F. Parking Manager Report & FY 18 Budget Presentation (See Attachment Exhibit 6 & 7). At both the April and May meetings Ed will go over the revised Parking Services Division Budget Request Summary. G. New Business. Discuss mobile vending Downtown. H. Adjournment. 9:20am The next Bozeman Parking Commission meeting will be held April 13th, 2017 at 7:30am at City Hall. Bozeman Parking Commission meetings are open to all members of the public.
