I have been here for 23 years now and it’s disappointing, with cooperative
weather, seeing the holidays come and go without much effort from the city toestablish the ice rinks. Hundreds of people daily use each of these rinks and its a
wonderful addition to our “ outside” town.
Is it because the parks dept is underfunded?Is it because the parks dept is understaffed?
Why won’t the city go back to the system of staff putting in the rinks at night withovertime pay which can’t be that significant.
It’s just my opinion, but as the city grows this amenity should be preserved!!
