COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 2847
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
BOZEMAN, MONTANA, DIRECTING CITY STAFF TO EXAMINE
CONDITIONS IN VARIOUS AREAS OF THE CITY AND TO
PREPARE A REPORT EXAMINING THOSE CONDITIONS
PURSUANT TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF STATE LAW RELATING
TO URBAN RENEWAL.
WHEREAS, the state of Montana has adopted an Urban Renewal
Law as found in parts 7-15-42 and 7-15-43, M.C.A.i and
WHEREAS, the City of Bozeman is authorized under the Urban
Renewal Law to develop a workable urban renewal program if
warrantedi and
WHEREAS, the need, feasibility and desirability for an urban
renewal program in Bozeman has not been investigated recently.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of
Bozeman, Montana, that city personnel, pursuant to the provisions
of the state of Montana Urban Renewal Law, investigate various
areas of the City of Bozeman and report to the City commission on
the need for, desirability of, and feasibility of creating an -
urban renewal program in the city of Bozeman.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Commission of the City of
Bozeman, Montana, at its regular and stated
21st day of October, 1991.
