Bozeman Firefighters responded to a medical emergency involving a 19 yr. old female reported to be in
respirtory arrest. Upon arrival Firefighters found the patient to be unresponsive but breathing. Witnesses
stated that patient had requested transport to the hospital then self administered epinephrin. Patient
lapsed into unconciousness prior to Firefighters arrival. Firefighters performed both a primary and
secondary survey, administered 02 , and assisted Medtrans with transport to the hospital.

Incident Narrative: Belgrade Fire requested our assistance at old Highway 10 and Springhill Road
where a Kenyon Noble truck had a hydraulic line rupture, spilling hydraulic
oil on the highway. Squad I was dispatched to the scene and supplied
Belgrade personnel with 250 pounds of absorbant that we spread over the spill
with a push broom. Chief Rash notified the Highway Department and was
informed they would be by later to sweep up the absorbant.

Incident Narrative: An occupant of a North 7th home called saying that the carbon monoxide
detector had gone off in his home. Upon investigation firefighters found that
one occupant was suffering from a headache (This occupant had been home
all day). Upon further investigation a slightly elevated carbon monoxide level
was found near the water heater. The doors and windows were opened to allow
the home to air out, occupants were told to shut off gas and call a service
person in the morning.

Incident Narrative: Station one received a call from a resident at 208 S. Yellowstone reporting a
smoke detector going off in the adjoining unit. Upon our arrival we able to
gain entry into the unit through an unlocked front door. After a through search
of the unit we were unable to find the reason that the detectors activated. Prior
to our leaving, we reset the alarms and called both the renter and the owner to
inform them of the incident. We secured the front fOOl on our departure.

lncideut Narrative: Station one recieved a call from a resident at 208 S. Yellowstone reporting a
smoke detector going off in the a<ljoining unit. Upon our arrivial we we able to
gain entry into the unit through an unlocked front door. After a thourough
search of the unit we were unable to find the reason that the detectors where
activated. Prior to our leaving we reset the alarms and called both the renter
and the owner to inform them of the incident. We secured the front foor on our
departure.

Incident Narrative: Bozeman Firefighters were called by a resident at 418 Cutting reporting her
carbon monoxide detector was reading 30 parts per million. She asked if we
would come and check out her home. Firefighters responded to the address.
They used a carbon monoxide detector to check the house for fumes. No
significant amount of carbon monoxide was found. The home owner reported
that her husband had recently changed the belt on the furnace. Firefighters
checked the furnace but could not find a source for the fumes. Firefighters
cleaned out the furnace and recommended that the owner call a furnace
repairman to check it out further.

Bozeman Firefighters responded to a report of a male involved in a fight. A 22 year old male had been
struck several times on the head by a lamp causing several lacerations and bruises. Firefighters assisted
ambulance personnel with patient care and transport to Bozeman Deaconess Hospital.
