COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 3874
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN,
MONTANA, DECLARING IT TO BE THE INTENTION OF SAID COMMISSION TO
CHANGE THE NAME OF "ENTERPRISE ROAD" , LYING BETWEEN REEVES
ROAD WEST AND NORTH 19TH AVENUE WITHIN THE WALKER PUD
SUBDIVISION, TO "VENTURE WAY".
WHEREAS, a request to change the name of "Enterprise Road" in the Walker Planned Unit
Subdivision has been submitted by the Gallatin County GIS Department, to avoid possible confusion with
the street named "Enterprise Boulevard" in the Genesis Business Park; and
WHEREAS, it appears to the City Commission, based on the staff report submitted with the
request, that the name of the subject street can be changed without detriment to the public interests; and
WHEREAS, it appears to the City Commission to be in the best interests of the City of Bozeman
and the inhabitants therein to provide for the requested name change.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of Bozeman,
Montana:
Section 1
Declaration of Intention
It is hereby declared to be the intention of the City Commission of the City of Bozeman,
Montana, to change the name of "Enterprise Road" to "Venture Way", more particularly described as:
That portion of Enterprise Road lying between Reeves Road West and North 19th
Avenue within the Walker Planned Unit Development Subdivision.
Section 2
Notice
That the City Clerk of the City of Bozeman is hereby directed to publish notice in the Bozeman
Daily Chronicle, per Section 7-1-4127, Montana Code Annotated, and mail notice to the affected property
owners, which notice shall state the time and place at which objections will be heard.
Section 3
Time for Objections
That the regular session of the Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana, to be held in the
Community Room in the Gallatin County Courthouse of said City on the 5th day of December 2005, at
7:00 p.m., is hereby designated as the time and place when and where the City Commission will hear
all objections to the renaming of said street.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana, at a
regular session thereof held on the 7th day of November 2005.

NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, at its regular meeting held on the 7th day of November 2005,
the City Commission of the City of Bozeman duly and regularly passed and adopted Commission
Resolution No. 3874, entitled:
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN,
MONTANA, DECLARING IT TO BE THE INTENTION OF SAID COMMISSION TO
CHANGE THE NAME OF "ENTERPRISE ROAD", LYING BETWEEN REEVES
ROAD WEST AND NORTH 19TH AVENUE WITHIN THE WALKER PUD
SUBDIVISION, TO "VENTURE WAY".
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that Monday, the 5th day of December 2005, at 7:00 p.m., in the
Community Room of the Gallatin Country Courthouse, 311 West Main Street, Bozeman, Montana, is
designated as the time and place to hear objections to the renaming of the street more particularly
described in the Resolution of Intention, and is the time and place for any person whose property abuts
upon the street affected by the proposed name change to appear and object, if they wish to do so.
