The building is a formerly detached single family wood frame residence, now attached by wood structure to west to commercial building at 316 E Babcock St. Building is a small 1-1/2-story building with drop cove siding on front gable end façade (north). Façade is symmetrical with central door flanked by larger fixed window, with three lights, on left and 2/2 double-hung wood sash window on right. Entry door has 3/6 lights. Small 1/1 double hung window centered in gable end of façade, front porch on façade has hip roof with exposed beams supported by simple square columns and solid railing. Original centered entry stairs to porch has been removed, presumably after attachment to building at 316 E. Babcock St. Remainder of windows are fixed in 1/1 double hung with modern storm windows. Small full-width enclosed rear porch has hip roof similar to front porch. Attached former garage with gable roof extends to south of building. Roof line of gable roof is perpendicular to Babcock Street. Single brick chimney is central and offset to roof ridge line. Roof is covered with composition shingles. Formed concrete. Porch appears to have post and beam supported by piers. Rear porch has river cobble foundation. Foundation Gable roof with ridgeline running north-south. Front porch has hipped roof. Roof Full-width front porch on north façade, smaller rear porch on south. Detached garage to south.
