Concisely, accurately, and completely describe the property and alterations with dates. Number the buildings and features
to correlate with the Site Map.
The building is a detached one-story single-family residence built on a basic rectangular plan. The façade exhibits a single
symmetrical bay The building has a gable roof with gable end on façade facing west to N. Willson Ave. The building has a
gable roofed addition extending to the north forming a short "L" projection. A recent shed-roofed dormer addition is located
at the rear and has newer siding. The front porch has a hipped-roof with solid framed railing. Porch is enclosed with fixed
glass windows. The gable end of the façade has a single half-round brow window above the porch roof. The frame
construction is finished in horizontal wood siding, possibly original to the structure. The building sits on a concrete
foundation. Windows are 1/1 double hung wood sash. The facade entry door is centrally positioned. The gable roof is
covered with asphalt shingles and lies perpendicular to N. Willson St.

A mixture of windows that are recent and possibly refurbished/original (?) windows. Porch is enclosed with fixed glass
windows. The gable end of the façade has a single half-round brow window above the porch roof. Windows are 1/1 double
hung wood sash.

1984 Historic Property Survey Form indicates the original owner of the property was Sarah E Torpey, and that the date of
construction is approximately 1922. The 1927 Sanbron Fire Insurance Map for Bozeman (Sheet 15) depicts the same one-
story building of the same location, orientation, and configuration on the property. The Polk City Directory for 1927 (pg.
106) shows the first listing for a resident at this addres, a Bert Moore and wife Dorothy, Manager at the Mutual Cream
Station. Readily available information indicates that the building does not possess any clear association with significant
events or persons in history, either locally, regionally, or nationally.
