Concisely, accurately, and completely describe the property and alterations with dates. Number the buildings and features
to correlate with the Site Map.
Building is a simple rectangular plan, 1-story structure with hipped-roof. Building was constructed as a restaurant in the
between 1996 and 2002. Building is on concrete foundation with basement. The building exhibits an asymmetrical one-bay
form on the façade that faces E. Babcock St. on the north. The façade was one single entry door with a small window to
the left, three windows to the right and a double access door near the northwest corner. Frame construction with board
siding and modern windows and entry doors. Roof is hipped with east-west running ridge line and covered with
composition shingles. Modern stove ventilation and chimneys located and peak of roof.

Readily available information revealed no specific historic information for building constructed after 1995. An aerial photo
(Google Earth) taken in August 1995 shows a small detached garage at the rear, northwest corner, behind the residence at
the rear of 550 E. Babcock (located at the corner of Babcock and Wallace. The 1958 revision of the 1923 Sanborn Fire
Insurance Map show the location of the current building having the same detached garage at the northwest corner of the
lot occupied by the residence at 550 (labeled as 548 E. Babcock St. in 1958). Aerial photo taken in August 2003 (Google
Earth) shows the current restaurant building in place.
