Concisely, accurately, and completely describe the property and alterations with dates. Number the buildings and features
to correlate with the Site Map.
The building is a one-story commercial structure with a curved corner (southeast) on a rectangular plan. The building has
an asymmetrical façade of segmental metal windows forming the curved corner. The building was originally constructed as
a gasoline and auto service station, but is currently utilized as a restaurant. The front entrance and metal panel joints
reflect the original design, but a recent entry vestibule with curved corners and glass block tiles has recently been added.
The exterior walls are finished in the original porcelain metal panels and rest on a concrete foundation. Gas pumps and
service islands no longer exist. The flat built-up roof lies perpendicular to Main Street. Concrete block addition with flat roof
is located to north side and northeast corner of original service station building added at some later date. East wall of
original service station building is brick.

The Sanborn Fire Insurance Map of Bozeman for 1927, sheet 16, shows a smaller rectangular service station placed
diagonally on the lot. The 1927/revised 1943 Sanborn Map, sheet 16, shows a one story service station of the current
configuration, location, and dimensions of front southern building, without northern projection/addition.
Polk's City Directory for Bozeman show the first reference to a automobile gas and oil business at the address in 1927, pg
180, with a listing of Hi Grail Oil Co. The 1929 directory, pg. 294, lists the business of Ronald H. Pasha under the heading
of Gasoline and Oil Service Stations.
No readily available information can be found to document that date of construction of the existing building, built sometime
between 1928 and 1942.
