Concisely, accurately, and completely describe the property and alterations with dates. Number the buildings and features

The building is a 2-story detached office building exhibiting a simple square plan measuring approximately 53 x 53 feet..
The building is made of concrete block with decorative rough formed block on the façade (west side). The façade is built
on a symmetrical plan with a central double entry door at ground level, flanked by panels of glass block. Front entrance is
covered by simple (more recent) gable roof supported by four 6X6 wood posts, forming an open covered entry way. The
entry door is flanked by one fixed window on either side with duplicate windows on second floor. Similar fenestration exists
on south and north walls. Building has a basement with slider windows. Building has a flat roof, perpendicular to S Black
Ave. The rear (east) of building has a small one-story concrete block rectangular addition (measuring approximately 36 ft
n-s by 22 ft e-w). North wall of main mass on west is flush with north wall of rear (east) projection. Building is flanked on
south and east sides by asphalt parking lot. Short parapet walls at roof line on south, west, and east elevations.

The last Sanborn Fire Insurance Company map of Bozeman, revised in 1960 (sheet 21) shows a one-story wood-frame
multiple family dwelling on the lot. The 1964 Polk City Directory (pg 22) indicates a dwelling with resident Ken F. Olson at
the subject address. The 1965 City Directory (pg. 22, 144) indicates the address occupied by M. L. Hulgren, a chiropractor
and owner of the building. It is unconfirmed from available documentation, but the chiropractor office listed in 1965 may
have been one of the spaces in the original 1-story, wood-frame dwelling structure. The 1980 9(pg 52) and1982 City
Directory (pg. 44) lists 5 - 8 different business occupants, including Creative Business Desing, New York Life, and other
listings. City Directories for 1983 (pg 49) and 1985 (pg. 49) also list various business occupants at the address including
Creative Business Designs, Inc. Wm. H. Oyler, Rober G. Essig, William L. Eblen, U and I Optical Outlet, New York Life
Insurance Co., Dave Douma, and KTVM TV station.
