Concisely, accurately, and completely describe the property and alterations with dates. Number the buildings and features
to correlate with the Site Map.
The building is a two story office building built in a rectangular plan. The main façade faces east with second floor
projecting over an exposed/covered walkway at he first floor. The second floor area above the walkway is supported by 10
square columns. Building has a flat built-up roof. Exterior wall surfaces are finished in stucco. Windows are a combination
of fixed and metal framed sliders of various sizes with glass commercial entry doors. South elevation has short parapet
wall above roof line. Roof line is exposed on east elevation. South elevation has stucco covered framed balcony at second
floor double entry door. Building's west wall abuts but is not common to east wall of 135 E. Mendenhall St. Exposed
portion of west wall is finished in corrugated metal siding.
Presumed to be concrete, with possible concrete slab.

According to the 1927/rev. 1960 Sanborn Fire Insurance Map for Bozeman (sheet 14), the property indicates a smaller 1-
story concrete block building on the front (south) portion of the lot. The 1962 Polk City Directory for Bozeman (pg. 50) lists
the occupants as the State Agricultural Conservation warehouse. The 1963 City Directory (pg. 50) lists the occupants as
the Montana Farm Bureau Federation. Limited recent historical records do not confirm a construction date for the current 2-
story building. It is estimated that the current building was built after 1975.
