This one-story industrial structure has a rectangular plan with a corner cut-out front entrance under a semi-circular awning. The facade is asymmetrical and con- sists of an offset front entrance with arched fixed aluminum windows with brick trim. The frame construction is finished in stucco with brick coursing around windows and on corner trim, and has a flat—built-up roof. The structure was remodeled in 1982 and was originally a very skillfully-done two-tone porcelain facade with enamel-metal panels. This was an original design by Fred Willson. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: Justify how the persons,important events,and/or historical patterns associated with the structure/site and surrounding area lend the property significance. This property ig significant because it is associated with a person important in Bozeman history, Fred F. Willson. ,:-Son of ,General• Lester S. . Willson, an early Bozeman pioneer, Willson was born in 1877 in Bozeman. He attended Montana State College for two years and graduated from Columbia University in architecture in 1902. He studied for two years abroad and upon his rettirn, Willson practiced with C. S. Haire in Helena and Butte. In his long practice from 1910-1956, he designed many public, commercial and residential buildings. This structure is an intrusive element within a potential historic district.
