PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Describe present appearance of structurelsite,then contrast and compare that with it's original appearance, noting additions,alterations,and changes in materials.Discuss significant architectural features. - This detached three-and-one-half story hospital has an irregular plan with four large Roman Doric columns supporting the raised two-story porch with a heavy ornamental conrice and a flat roof. The three-bay facade is asymmetrical and consists of a central bay with two later wing additions. The windows on all stories are 3/1 and 6/1 double-hung on the older building and sliding sash on the new. The bearing wall construction is finished in running bond brick and rests on a raised concrete foundation that features a terra cotta belly band on the main floor line. The flat built up roof has a heavy, ornamental cornice on the older section and a concrete band around the roofline of the additions. The axis of the roof is parallel to the street.
