Hello,
We are writing in reference to the CUP for Cooperative Housing being sought by the Radoslovich and Kirby
families. We are residents of the Bozeman area in Gallatin County. We know the Kirbys and Radosloviches
personally, including their children.
We urge you to approve the CUP they are seeking. We can vouch for the character of both families. Both maintain
orderly lives, are active neighbors, and appreciate all Bozeman has to offer. They desire to contribute to the good of
the city, and we have watched them do this already in their lives. Approving this permit serves an aim of the city as
well in helping create affordable housing options where housing is so expensive. The Kirbys and Radosloviches
have worked on this as a solution for them which fosters community among other things. We do not see this as
lowering property values in their neighborhood--their own investments into the home provide good motivation to
build equity into the property, not devalue it. We have seen them do this in the past, so that is their track record.
Additionally, the Radosloviches have been tenants of ours. They not only maintained but improved our house and
the surrounding yard and landscaping. They were very helpful and never disruptive. We were sorry to lose them as
neighbors actually.
