Dear Mr. Saunders and Bozeman City Commissioners,
We are writing in regards to the proposed Conditional Unit Permit (CUP) application for 4149 Clydsedale. As homeowners in BaxterMeadows Subunit, we oppose this application for exception to our Home Owners Association by-laws.
We were originally drawn to this area due to its Single Family zoning and wish our investment in this subdivision to be protected. Webelieve that it is the voice of these local residents of Baxter Meadows that should be heard and weighed greatly as a decision is made. These are not only our homes but our neighborhoods. We have all invested in this area and our desires are to see this neighborhoodcontinue on its original path as Single Family Homes. There are plenty of multi-family residences available in Bozeman for those who arein need of this option.
We understand that both families are looking for responsible as well as desirable areas for their families; it just doesn’t fit in ourneighborhood or it would already be allowed by the HOA by-laws. We believe the City of Bozeman is working hard to provide theseopportunities for them and other families and that a CUP is not the solution to this problem.
We hope that the Commission will consider the desires of the residents of Baxter Meadows Subunit and vote in favor of opposing theproposed CUP.
