Construct a new Courts Building and renovate the existing L&J to house co-
located City of Bozeman Police and Gallatin County Sheriff operations .
1 . Programmatic Considerations :
A. Courts building would provide for all programmatic requirements
identified in Master Plan (exception of Gallatin County Attorney
which would remain in Guenther Bldg . )
B . Existing L&J Building would be renovated to serve Law Enforcement
functions .
C . New Courts building would address all key security issues .
2 . Site Considerations :
A. Site access and flow compromised during construction and in the long
term due to location of existing L&J structure
B . Will require relocation of all occupants of the existing L&J Building
while construction occurs .
