COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 4848
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN,
MONTANA,ADOPTING THE 2017 FIRE MASTER PLAN
WHEREAS,the City of Bozeman is committed to addressing the community's expressed
needs and desires for essential services including fire protection; and
WHEREAS the City of Bozeman is committed to meeting those desires and demands for
fire protection services in a planned and fiscally responsible manner; and
WHEREAS,the City of Bozeman is committed to meeting those desires and demands for
fire protection services in a prudent manner to safeguard public health and safety; and
WHEREAS, The City of Bozeman is authorized pursuant to the laws of the State of
Montana including Section 7-33-4101 MCA to organize, manage, and control a fire department;
and
WHEREAS, The City of Bozeman has developed a Fire Master Plan which examines
current and future fire service needs that provides a logical, balanced, operationally sound, and
cost effective basis upon which to develop and maintain the City's fire service.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of
Bozeman,Montana that the 2017 Fire Master Plan, dated October 2017, as attached hereto and by
this reference made a part hereof, is hereby adopted.
PASSED, ADOPTED, AND APPROVED by the City Commission of the City of
Bozeman,Montana at a regular session thereof held on the 6ch day of November, 2017.
