To whom it may concern,
File # 17-469
4149 Clydesdale Court
It was recently brought to my attention that this single family dwelling is
currently in the process of being occupied by multiple families. In connection tothis, it is my understanding that this house is not only in a residential
neighborhood where the HOA bi-laws clearly state that houses are to be SINGLEfamily dwellings but also that this is in an area zoned by the City of Bozeman to
be occupied only by SINGLE families. If this is the case, aren't the zoning lawsand HOA bi-laws enough to have stifled this matter before now?
Furthermore, I have read other emails/letters in connection to this conditional use
permit stating that the proposed owners are people of great character. I amdelighted to know that Bozeman and Baxter West have people of great character
living in the city limits, however this does not make amends for the disregard andpotential work-around for the in-place the zoning laws.
Please take the time to consider the reason zoning laws and HOA bi-laws are put
into place. There are plenty of areas in the Gallatin Valley where these twocouples could look to build or purchase houses next to each other instead of
turning one house into a glorified apartment complex.
Thank you for your time,
Aaron and Lindsey Harkins
