Dear City Commissioners
This is my third communication in opposition to the CUP for the residence at4149 Clydesdale. As the date for the meeting approaches and after reading the
correspondence in favor of the CUP- I am compelled to write to you again andensure that the matter at hand is what is being decided on.
Every single letter in favor of the CUP states that the families are upstanding, contributing members of Bozeman and would be wonderful neighbors. I bet that
if I met these two families- I would be of the same belief. However- where mydivision of opinion comes is that they would be great neighbors in TWO different
homes. This is not about the character of the families- this is about the unravelingof the fabric and the intent of the HOA bylaws. Baxter Meadows offers varied
housing for different price points and to say that this is a solution to the affordablehousing crisis in Bozeman is ludicrous. Affordable housing is not in excess of
$600,000. Or, for that matter, half of the total purchase price which would beover $300,000 per family.
Allowing a conditional use permit hurts the entire neighborhood by devaluing ourproperties. It is additional strain on the resources having 10 people live in a home
that was designed for far fewer. And in the application documents- it is suggestedthat there is green space that could be used for additional parking if necessary. I
don't know where you live, but where I'm from - parking on the lawn is frownedupon in any situation. And along the lines of the parking issue- one of the letters
in favor of the CUP (Hammer) suggests that additional cars could park onKimberwicke. This just illustrates that these letters are written by people that
don't know the lay of the land. There is no parking on Kimberwicke and it is aschool zone where an additional traffic is a hazard.
Please- let your decision be influenced by the neighbors to this property, thepeople that have purchased in this neighborhood for a standard of living that does
not include multiple families in one dwelling, multiple cars and increased traffic. This is not a popularity contest- this is, for me, about the biggest financial
investment I have.
Thank you Amy Babcock

Dear Chris I am concerned about a home at 4149 Clydesdale Court that backs up to my
home at 2421 Lasso Avenue. My concern is that it is being sold to 2 familieswith 6 children. It is a single family home and the buyers are seeking a variance
to skirt the single family zoning. Allowing this variance would set a precedence that would unravel the fabric of
our neighborhood. The homes in Baxter Meadows were built as single familyand are in no way adequate to accommodate multi family. The increase of cars,
both parking and driving, is not sustainable in our neighborhood. Bozeman is growing so fast and this type of rule bending will only serve to
encourage more.
This is of great importance to me that this issue is carefully considered and theVariance and CUP be denied to preserve the neighborhood as it was initially
intended, and to protect property values also. I would appreciate your seriousconsideration of this matter and would like you to feel free to contact me at this
