The acquiring agency Is the Forest Service, Department of Agriculture,
SUBJECT TO the rights of the United States and third parties recited in the patents from the United States.
TOGETHER WITH all and singular the tenements, hereditaments, and appurtenances thereunto belonging
or in anywise appertaining, the reversion and reversions, remainder and remainders, rents, issues, and profits
thereof; and also all the estate, right, title, interest, possession, claim and demand whatsoever, as well in law
as in equity, of the said Grantor, of, in, or to the said premises, and every part and parcel thereof, with the
appurtenances thereto belonging.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD, all and singular, the above mentioned and described premises, together with
appurtenances, unto the said Grantee and to its assigns forever. And the Grantor, its successors and assigns
do hereby covenant that they will forever warrant and defend all right, title, and interest in and to said premises
and the quiet and peaceable possession thereof unto the Grantee and its assigns against the acts and deeds
of the Grantor and its successors and assigns, and against all and every person and persons whomsoever
lawfully claiming or in the future may claim the same.

Re: Warrantee Deed -Item 20-a.
A brief explanation of this item may be in order.
The Burke's sold us 40+- acres which included Peets Hill.
Early in discussions with the Burke's it was determined that a way
to get the cash to consummate the exchange was to sell some of the
property the City owns in the Sourdough Creek drainage. The 954+
acres were appraised at $167,000 which and was received last week
from the U.S. Forest Service. It was necessary to sign to get the
check.
I placed this item on the agenda to have a record of the
$167,000 having been received and to officially note the receipt of
the warrantee deed from the u.s. Forest Service.
