Congratulations on winning your election!
A couple things I've been wanting to mention: "tourist tax" I wouldn't mind gas tax but would prefer not to have tax
on every restaurant visit!
There really needs to be a left turn light at Beall and 19th!! Traffic as you know can be insane on 19th and if one should be behind
someone who will NOT move out into the intersection part way will mean that we can sit through 3 or 4 light cycles. It's bad enough if
you're the only one sitting there!!
I asked the city clerks once why I pay light taxes for Beall-N 19th- N 23rd! I have no problem with Beall to 19th because that serves many
people and I am very happy to pay for the street lights on N. 20th. I probably wouldn't mind from 20th-23rd IF the people on 21st thr 23 also
paid in on that. They have no street lights but don't see the rationale of 20th residents have to subsidize them on Beall!?! When
I asked one clerk she couldn't see why either and agreed with me!
