Alvord - Variance and Conditional Use Permit at 4149 Clydesdale Court, Baxter Meadows subdivisionFrom:Pam Alvord To:Chris Saunders Subject:Variance and Conditional Use Permit at 4149 Clydesdale Court, Baxter Meadows subdivision Date:Saturday, October 28, 2017 6:32:24 PM Hi Chris, i have been informed that 2 individual families consisting of a husband and wife and 3 kidsper family have applied for a Conditional Use Permit, and a permanent Variance at 4149 Clydesdale Court to buy the home together. According to the City code their request does notmeet the City's definition of a single Household as this will be both family's full time year around residence. I live at 2418 Lasso Avenue in Baxter Meadow's subdivision and strongly suggest that bothapplications be denied because it is zoned RS Single Family Households. The neighborhood is very well maintained and codes are enforced and it is what attracted me to this neighborhoodoriginally 4 years ago. My old neighborhood in Gardner Park had a lot of changes and many codes were broken , and it became such a nightmare that we moved to this neighborhood toavoid the same problems. My experience has been if that if a special Variance is allowed, it paves the way for many such code violations. This is of great importance to me that this issue is carefully considered and the Variance andCUP be denied to preserve the neighborhood as it was initially intended, and to protect property values also.
