Dear commissioners,
I've skimmed through the strategic plan and noticed an omission under the "active recreation"
category. Under parks under development, the proposed bike park at the Story Mill Landfill
has been omitted. The local mountain bike community has been counting on that project
getting formally launched at some point. The timeline for this strategic plan is a 5 year span. I
think that within that 5 year time frame it would be possible to start planning for a park and
perhaps begin construction of the initial stages of development. Please add a bike park to the
strategic plan. It should be recognized in this important document.
