Dear Commissioners:
In my 17 years living in Bozeman, I've always thought the city snowplow crews have done a fantastic job
clearing snow within the first few hours of a major snowfall. That said, I was surprised with the city's poor
performance after last night's (Nov. 3) snowstorm, during which we received over a foot of heavy wet
snow. As of 2pm today, most major roads that I drove in my 4WD truck were totally unplowed, including
Hunters Way (where I live) and Oak Street. What's the deal? Were all the snowplow drivers elk hunting or
at the Ski Swap?
