Hello,
I am the owner and massage therapist at Blue Moon Massage located at 501. E. Peach, suites
G&H. I am writing because i have become very frustrated with the road still not beingcomplete. This has left me no access to my office for over 2 months now. I was contacted mid
August about the road work and was informed that I would not have access for 2-3 weeks. I aswell as my clients were very understanding.
There have been MANY days that nobody has worked at all. They have been more recently, but now weather may be an issue for asphalt.
My business has suffered greatly in this time. I am a single mom and am our only provider. I
have been a therapist for 17 years and have built up a good clientele. I typically have 10-14massage sessions per week. Unfortunately due to the inconvenience for many and the
impossible access for my handicapped and elderly, I have had only a few clients the past fewweeks. And I've had to cancel several that I was hoping could make it since the construction
was supposed to be completed. I was also promised a safe walking path for those that areable. That never happened either.
I'm truly at a tough point in my business and trying to support my daughter and myself. I was very positive at first knowing repairs and upgrades are necessary, but over 2 months
with no access has become a big issue. I've lost a lot of money, clients, and time.
I understand this company has been a nightmare to work with. I see that. But I dont feel Ishould have to suffer such a loss due to their negligence or the choice of taking the lowest bid
or how this ended up going.
Please help me. I'm going into a slower time of year and having lost so much has really hurt. Ihope to hear from you. Thank you for your time.
